An excursion to the Säve Airport: (March 24, 2004)

This day I went, together with some people (mostly from my building), to the Säve Airport here in Göteborg. We visited an underground (in a mountain) nuclear proof bunker. It was used in times of war to put plains and stuff stand-by. Now there are still some planes, yets and helicopters. The airport is the RyanAir base, by the way. They are going to use the bunker to build a huge amusement park with all kinds of interesting aspects: it's a museum, interactive, informative, amusing, exciting... That's the plan at least... Their plans are quite ambitious, so I am very curious how it will work out. They want to open already next year, the 15th of May. For more information, you can check www.aeroseum.se.

Amunition storage.
In these corridors air planes could be put stand-by in the case of war.

A generator that could supply electricity to the bunker in case of an electricity drop-out.

We could climb some jets and helicopters.

You don't, I repeat you DO NOT want to see this movie. Believe me! Downloading and watching it is on your own risk. :P
