Waiting for the tram to take us to Haga, the old City Centre of Göteborg.

First we went to Linnégatan, a big street with shops, restaurants and stuff.

Then we entered the old city.

And we had to walk up the hill (Risåsen) to reach The Skansen Crown (Skansen Kronan).
The fortifications, like one of which this fort was part, were based on Dutch models and had to protect Göteborg which was granted its charter by Gustav Adolf II in 1621. But before this period people (Dutch colonists!!!) had already begun to move into the city, though slowly because the defences of the city were not yet completed.

There is quite a nice view over a part of the city from the hill.
Too bad of the rainy weather...

And then we went back down and visited the Haga Crurch (Haga Kyrkan).

And finally we went to the Fish Market (Feskekörka) on the Fiskkaj.
Too bad it had closed just like 15 minutes before we arrived. :(
